My sister Keri Ann and I went to a reading and signing by Jamie Lee Curtis of her newest children's book "Is There Really A Human Race?" at Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Center, in New York City Tuesday evening. It was really cool to meet Ms. Curtis. She arrived early for the book reading/signing and chatted with her fans, both old and young. (I would fall into the 'old' fan category!) Had I thought about it, I would have taken along a DVD copy of 'True Lies' for her to sign.
We ended the evening with dinner in Times Square and a stage door visit to the musical 'Wicked' where we were able to obtain signatures from most of the main stars.

Cool entry, Mike! I am glad you got to see Jamie Lee. We went a few years back to a signing she did, and we picked up a copy of the book for Lanie. Laura Cornell, who is the illustator of all her books, drew a little picture with each autograph, with the first letter of the name on the shirt of the character. Lanie's copy, which is in the little collectibles archive I have been saving for her since she was born, has a little person which looks like a little Lanie with an "L" on her shirt. Very cute!
SHE WAS A BLAST...SO FUN........
