Less Than One Week!

Next Friday, We'll be on approach to land on runway 08/26 at Puerto Plata airport in the Dominican Republic. I'm looking forward to this vacation. Lot's of things to see and do. Lot's of places to visit. Thank you Kristine!

My sister Keri Ann and I went to a reading and signing by Jamie Lee Curtis of her newest children's book "Is There Really A Human Race?" at Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Center, in New York City Tuesday evening. It was really cool to meet Ms. Curtis. She arrived early for the book reading/signing and chatted with her fans, both old and young. (I would fall into the 'old' fan category!) Had I thought about it, I would have taken along a DVD copy of 'True Lies' for her to sign.
We ended the evening with dinner in Times Square and a stage door visit to the musical 'Wicked' where we were able to obtain signatures from most of the main stars.

Just Two Weeks To Go!

Well, just two weeks to go before we leave for the Dominican Republic. So far, Kristine and I have decided on a few things to do there. First, we plan on drinking several of these. (see the picture to the left!) Presidente is the 'official' beer of the DR. Then, we plan on taking the Monster Truck Safari, the Brugal Rum factory tour and a pub crawl. We also plan on getting some sun, (I have SPF 90!) shopping and getting to know the town of Sosua, where we'll be staying. I'll have my laptop and I'm told there is WiFi in the area. I'll try to post this blog as often as I can.
