Philadelphia Trip

This past weekend, Kristine and I took my oldest niece and nephew, Lanie and Matt to Philadelphia. We spent several hours at the Franklin Institute. The kids really loved the giant walk-through heart. (See the photo above)

Afterward, we went to Penn's Landing (Where the 2nd above photo was taken). We had a GREAT time.

'Big Pussy' in NYC

After attending a special 'Sopranos' event at the Museum of Television and Radio Broadcasting in NYC last month, I ran into the actor Vincent Pastore. Vincent plays Sal 'Big Pussy' Bompensiero on the HBO series 'The Sopranos'. Here he is giving me his autograph. I looked around for a few other cast members but had to 'lay low' as the Feds were around and they were taking pictures.

Illness And Hospital Stay

On Friday March 30th, I was admitted to the Lehigh Valley Hospital with pancreatitis. I was an inpatient for eight days. I couldn't have received better care. The physicians and staff were great.

My pancreatitis was the result of my not being able to get my Lipitor prescription filled due to it being rejected by my health insurance.

The pharmacy was willing to fill the prescription, but I would have paid over $5.00 a pill! That's over $160.00 a month!

Now, I'm back healthy again and taking the different (Cheaper) medication that my insurance provider wants me to take.

It really is the tail wagging the dog!
